About Headwaters Communities in Action
Headwaters Communities in Action (HCIA) is a citizens group that fosters leadership and action in support of a long-term vision of community well-being for the Headwaters Region. They work to inform and engage citizens about issues affecting the well-being of the community. By hosting community conversations and encouraging collaboration among individuals from various sectors and municipalities, HCIA helps coordinate effective responses to shared challenges.
Green Monkey Creative has collaborated with HCIA to develop a range of communication design materials, as well as providing website maintenance and event advertising services. One notable project includes the creation of a comprehensive farm-to-school learning kit aimed at classrooms. This kit is designed to educate students about the significance of local farming and the benefits of healthy eating habits.
