Green Monkey Creative is a boutique creative studio founded by Jess White, RGD, a designer, creative strategist, and community-minded entrepreneur based in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Green Monkey Creative was founded in Orangeville, Ontario in 2017 by Jess White and Julie Thurgood-Burnett with a vision of creating a creative studio local businesses could genuinely trust. From the beginning, the goal was to build something approachable, collaborative, and rooted in strong relationships rather than a traditional corporate agency.
The name “Green Monkey Creative” came from wanting the business to reflect the fun, creative, and outside-the-box side of marketing and design. The monkey icon quickly became a symbol of creativity, curiosity, and adaptability — values that continue to shape the business today.
Over the years, Green Monkey Creative has proudly supported hundreds of businesses, nonprofits, tourism organizations, festivals, and community initiatives across Canada through branding, websites, marketing, and creative strategy. Today, Julie has gone on to build Hereward Farms and Jess continues as the sole owner and creative lead behind Green Monkey Creative, working alongside a trusted network of developers and creative collaborators.
Now based in Atlantic Canada, Green Monkey Creative proudly serves clients across Canada — many of whom Jess has partnered with for more than 15 years.
About the founder:
Jess White, RGD
Jess White is a creative entrepreneur, designer, and founder based on the East Coast of Canada. As the owner of Green Monkey Creative, Jess works with businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations to build thoughtful brands, websites, campaigns, and storytelling that connect people in meaningful ways.
Active in community and tourism initiatives throughout the region, Jess also serves as a Director with the Fundy-St. Martins Chamber of Commerce, supporting local business growth, tourism, and regional collaboration.
Through every project, Jess leads with a community over competition mindset, believing the best ideas are built through collaboration, shared creativity, and meaningful connection. Whether developing brands, creating experiences, or building community-driven initiatives, her work is centred around helping people feel more connected — to their business, their creativity, their community, and themselves.
